I’ve never been a truckin’ chica before, meaning I’ve never had an adventure in a real live truck before (chica = Spanish for girl/woman/chick. Its a nice term commonly used to describe “girls”. Chica = singular. Chicas = plural) So two days of truckin’ was really fun. I hardly know where to start. The fabulous landscape. Australia really is the best, so beautiful and varied – but I’m totally biased. The interesting, lovely, helpful people we encountered. The cows and bull. The cattle dip. The sperm – do you know HOW many different types of dysfunctional sperm there can be??!!?? The driving. The truckin’. The flat tyre. The food – always an issue for me as I travel as, although Australia is great with being able to gluten free ingredients, cafes and roadside restaurants don’t really cater for this. The learning of the landscape and the injustice of corporations.
How much can you pack into 2 days of new adventuring!!
I’m off to Bingara,NSW, in a little while to the annual Orange Festival today so I have to hurry up and get this written. Another adventure awaits me locally. There is soooo much to do out here in the bush. I love it.
Instead of writing I’m going to put some photos of the days…… a vignette of posts to come!!! I love just putting my photos up as they paint so many stories just in themselves.
Hasta mañana….. until tomorrow…..
