…… the full moon rises over a paddock of Coolatai Grass!!
In my previous posts Grassy Kind Of Week, Coolatai Grass as a Resource and Dew Drops on The Grass I extolled the virtues of Coolatai Grass – the dominant grass species on The GO. It surrounds my everyday living.
As the moon rose and silhouetted this beautiful head of Coolatai grass I was once again amazed at what this much maligned grass has to offer. Without it, much of my local landscape would be bare – even more open to the ravagers of climate change. With Coolatai grass supporting degraded landscapes, it gives us a chance to work on the regenerating the landscape through mindful stock management and bring the farmscapes back to being abundant with summer and winter perennial grasses.
Coolatai grass is just the best.
